Have you ever been tasked with hosting a party at the last minute? Sure you can always say no, but if you are able to take on the project there are some resources for you. Now depending on how last minute you receive your request, you may or may not be able to travel to a store (may be closed, etc). This may leave you with a 24 hour drug store to choose your items. Before you write it off as impossible, here are some
last-minute essentials and decor to complete your party needs without breaking the bank.
Party Ideas and Accessories with CVS
- Create a fun candy buffet of multi-pack faves like M&Ms, Jellybeans and more. As a bonus (should the weather permit), make ice cream sundaes with these lovely toppings.
- When all else fails you can always rely on colorful balloons to spruce up your space. Children love these inflatable accessories so place tons in your area (tape them to the wall, etc).
- For the little pre-Madonnas, create a fun beauty station and decorate it with lip balms, nail polish and anything else needed to beautify their appearance.
- Everyone loves a favor, but don’t feel you need to spend a lot of money on it. Stock up on Ziploc baggies and fill them with left over candies. This can be a child’s “in case of emergency” stash to satisfy their sweet tooth.
