In case you didn’t know, this week marked Tabletop Week in the Big Apple. Located at 7W New York, participating showrooms revealed their best (and newest) in tabletop essentials and accessories. Now we weren’t able to see everything Tabletop Week had to offer, but got a good sense of available products. For the most part, there was a strong focus on the spring with bright colors and bold patterns. It was also nice to see fashionable items that are perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

So what did we like? Out of all the showrooms we visited, we most enjoyed our time at the Richard Cohen showroom. Their display of Sabre pieces was magnificent with chic acrylic kitchen accessories that are dishwasher safe, and hues that will turn heads. They even have the cutest collection of winter-inspired tableware with wool prints and holiday colors. We even had the pleasure of meeting Livia Anne Cowan, President and Creative Director of Mariposa. Located in the same showroom, Mariposa showcases a nice line of intricate table accessories that can be used in a traditional or contemporary setting. With many of the pieces made from recycled glass and metals, their collection pushes the line of innovation and technique.
