Daily Discovery: Duravit OpenSpace Shower
We were unable to attend last night’s festivities at the Duravit Manhattan showroom, but had to talk about some new innovation. Collaborating with EOOS (Vienna-based design group), Duravit now offers a modern shower solution for cramped spaces. OpenSpace is a complete shower that folds against the wall after use (talk about clearing out the space). With a mirrored finish, OpenSpace features two large doors with a rise and fall hinge mechanism. here are some more perks/amenities of the Duravit OpenSpace shower:
- Doors lift and fold into the frame, and later lower back into the shower position
- Has an integrated U-profile to add stability and compensation for wall unevenness (up to 18mm)
- Can be combined with any tile floor and also showertrays
- Can be combined with several handshowers
