Bravo may have handed out pink slips but that is not stopping Alex McCord from moving on. The former ‘Real Housewife of New York City’ has kept busy with Aluxe™ Home, a luxury bed and bath collection. A new venture between hubby Simon van Kempen (and Vivian and Joseph Douek), the collection features various bedding and bath towels all made of 100% Egyptian cotton. Setting up shop on 5th Avenue and manufacturing inEgypt, this line takes an international quality and brings it into the home.

Available to wholesale customers, McCord’s new line will be the spring board to a hotel collection (set to launch Fall 2012) as well as other opportunities. Just last week the new company opened its doors to wholesale buyers during the New York Home Fashions Market.
