Be Traditional or Daring with Color – Unlike past years, we are noticing more and more colors seeping into the fall season. There are two ways to introduce color into your home with autumn. Your first option is to continue the tradition of regal colors. Plums, golds and burgundys are classic hues that enhance the season. Use them along with seasonal foods (avocado, corn, pumpkin) and spices to create the ultimate fall palette (see “2011 Top Fall Decorating Colors“).
Are you having trouble letting go of summer? Keep them! This season, we expect to see the use of brighter colors. Fuchsias and bright greens are just some of the electric tones that will make their way into fall. Yes this is a little unorthodox, but why not?
