We are going to try out a new segment that will focus on decorating with color. Color Chic will be your guide on how to style your homes in fabulous colors. For our first entry, we wanted to focus on blue and white as it is a perfect color choice for the summer.

Have you ever noticed in movies (or personal experience) that many beach homes incorporate blue and white into their design? That is because the pairings offerings a soft and casual feel to any space. Blue hues are soothing and function to relax our senses vs. stimulate them (like reds, oranges, and yellows). Being a neutral color, blue holds no bias and thus often accepted by visitors.
