Playboy Office Gets and Interior Facelift

Playboy Atrium Staircase
Playboy magazine has been working hard to stay afloat. Like many publications, the magazine has been trying to keep up with competitors including Maxim magazine and free online publications. In May 2009, Playboy announced it was putting itself on the market seeking at least $300 million. There are also talks to close up shop at the New York location.

Playboy Reception
Interior design has offered both a facelift and new hope to the enterprise. Designed by Highland Associates principal Glenn Leitch, the new Playboy renovation hopes to bring forth higher rent for a sublease. Leitch transformed the two level, 70,000 sf space into a sleek, and minimal bunny haven. The goal of the renovation was to reinvent the Playboy identity.

Playboy Conference Room
The Midtown office pairs vintage bunnies of the past with modernity. The color palette properly pairs cool hues with warm tones. It is modern, it is futuristic, it is sophisticate, it is chic. The new Playboy office will be a gorgeous home for any company that subleases.
